Top view of graduation mortarboard and diploma isolated on yellow background, education concept

Every time someone says it’s worth it to go to university because “an education is the one thing no one can take from you” it drives me up a wall.

You know how to take someone’s education from them? It’s easy.

Hit them in the head.

Your education is one of the easiest things to lose.

The debt is a lot harder to get rid of.

Every day I take care of the shell of a person who used to have a PhD.

He doesn’t know how he got here.

He doesn’t know how to tie his shoes.

That debt is still there, waiting to be paid.

You can lose an education, believe me.
